What do you listen to as you code?

Artists vary from Tycho to Ludovico Enaudi to deadmau5. I suggest you give the following playlist a try :)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Usually something fast paced, and the less words the better. Movie and video game music seem to work the best, but otherwise I fall back to metal.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Depends on the task I&rsquo;m working on&hellip;</p> <p>For &ldquo;wood chopping&rdquo; (i.e.: writing interfaces for lots and lots of classes, creating test data, building test database, or anything else that means no real mental challange) I like to listen to classic rock, smooth jazz or electro-swing&hellip;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Depends on my mood.&nbsp; Music plays most everyday for me, while I am coding and whatnot.&nbsp; I almost go crazy without it.&nbsp; I just got a new office, and I can use speakers on low volume now and not have to wear headphones, which would get uncomfortable after several hours.<br /> <br /> Most developers I have worked with listen to something while they work.<br /> &nbsp;</p> <p>Most of the time it is heavy metal blaring.
